First, tonight's push includes a new selection under the "In Beta" area of the Control Panel, which allows you to provide your own custom HTML for the body of all pages on your site. Next, we've addressed some bugs that have been reported concerning the editor (sorry folks, looks like we were wrong about it being a cookies issue). Info sections have also had a bug fixed.

The new chat room is finally fully operational and we believe most of the quirky behavior some are seeing in the new editor control are related to old cookies. Try clearing those out (especially in FireFox -- grrr) and if you still have trouble, let us know via support ticket, please.

Lord of the Rings Online guilds will notice a few new features that went along with the editor push tonight. Namely, guild rosters now load directly from Turbine's servers, and the editor (when posting) has a "One Ring" icon that, when clicked, helps you add links to LOTRO-related goodies. The roster will load from Turbine's servers only if there is an exact match for your guild name and the server you selected when you started the guild. If either are incorrect, they can be modified in the Control Panel under Guild Name and Server. LOTRO Integration can be disabled/re-enabled in the Control Panel as well, under LOTRO Integration.

We will be deploying the latest version of the WYSIWYG editor later today. It will resolve issues with IE 8, and has a few neat things that we can do with it, moving forward. We are testing it in the latest versions of all browsers, and also ensuring compatibility with a version back, where feasible. For some browsers with rapid release schedules (like Firefox), please ensure you have auto-updates configured.

Also, for those not getting any results when using the GPHelper add-on for WoW when they type /gph update in-game, grab the latest from www.guildportal.com/GPHelper. Pushed this morning, it updates its version number to what WoW expects.

Enhancements going live this morning: around 40 new custom forum emoticons available for you to set in your Control Panel (under Custom Images : Emoticons). Also, clicking on an event from the monthly calendar view will take you directly to the event you selected, instead of displaying all events on that day. Of course, some probably liked seeing all of the events for the day, so what we've done to compensate was put a list of all events for that day to the right, above the two small selection calendars you see when viewing an event. It's got an animated opening -- you can't miss it. =)

Updates: Topics with more than 20 pages of replies were disallowing further replies. Fixed. A problem with the GPHelper.lua add-on for WoW has been fixed, be sure to get latest. Clicking the Edit button under an Alliances content type now loads the correct editor. In some cases, the Edit button under Image Gallery types wouldn't show up. Fixed.

This is it... this is where I thank everyone for the help over the years. The new site for the Faire is up and running. We are still putting things back in place in the new forums but we are open for business. Please visit us at our new home: http://ferrousfaire.wowstead.com/Once we complete the forum move, this site will come down. Any current Ferrous Faire members that still frequent this site, please go to the new site linked above and sign up. You will be required to enter a password to link your character(s) to the guild. Please send an in-game whisper or mail to me and I will provide it to you. You can also send me a message on the new guild site, just make "Guild Password" your subject and I will respond as soon as I can. Thanks. Mahune Lightcloud
I just wanted to post this to inform those who actually frequent this site that the Ferrous Faire will no longer be hosted here on Guildportal.
We will be moving our guild site to another location. As of right now we will not passing info along until the new site is 100% functional.
At this time I would like to thank everyone that came by and posted over the years since we started.
I extend my welcome to everyone to stay tuned to this page as info and URL information will be posted once we are fully moved out.
Thanks again.

After some tracking down and deliberation, some.. if not all of the site images have been restored. Things should be getting a little better around here.
Also, there is a possibility that the guild site will be changing locations from Guild Portal to another hosting service. This has not been fully confirmed as of yet but Iw will keep you posted as things come along.
Thanks for your patience.
We are aware of the issue where most if not all images from the site are broken or missing. This is due to an issue of where the images are hosted currently. We are looking into resolving this issue. Please bear with us.
Thank you.
This release is for the latest patch notes from the PTR server running
WoW v3.0.2.
So without further delay...... head on over to the Forums,
under the Light Faire Discussion for
WoW Patch Info.
Enjoy!
